so here's another butterfly! I think I need to use another stamp, LOL! Well, we're going away for a few days over the weekend so maybe I'll be able to hit a scrapbook store somewhere along the way. Anyways I'm entering this in 3 challenges:
Here's another card I made this morning. The butterfly is a stamp I bought a couple of weeks ago from Michaels. I've tried the 'kissing' technique on it and think it turned out pretty good. The cute spotty backing paper is from GTC Crafty Corner. I'm entering this into 3 challenges:
I was able to make a couple of cards this morning while my grandson, Thomas was outside with his Papa playing in the pool. He's just been ever so good. Anyways, this lovely rose digi was a freebie from Create with TLC, they have some wonderful digis...you really must check them out. I colored the rose with pencil crayons then used OMS. I used the Victorian embossing folder on the background cardstock as well as the butterfly. I'm entering this into 3 challenges:
I haven't been making cards for a while. Last week we had our 22 month old granddaughter with us for 4 days (will post about that later) and this week we have our grandson Thomas with us. Thomas is almost 8 and loves to make cards with his gramma! So I was able to make this one last night. I used my birdie stamp that I bought from Michaels a couple of weeks ago. I colored them with 2 shades of blue and then used my OMS. I'm entering this in 2 challenges:
Here's another one of my new stamps. Isn't he sweet! I used my Cuttlebug to emboss the back paper (Victorian folder) and Swiss Dot on the beige c/stock. I'm entering this into 2 challenges:
Hubby took me to Michaels Friday night after having a great dinner at one of our fav local restrs.....just to but some dark purple cardstock. As we were waiting in line, they have bins that are full of rubber stamps for $1.50...great price...I bought 8 new stamps and love them all. On this card is the very pretty tree and just because stamps. I'm entering this into 2 challenges:
Flutter By Wednesday's challenge was to use your fav color as well as a butterfly/fairy/angel.....of course loving butterflies that's what I chose. I really like white because almost everything goes with it! I've used my Cuttlebug to emboss the top of the card with swiss dots and the btm half using the Victorian
I liked the sketch at Truly Scrumptious and thought I'd give it a try. I didn't have this particular template so I made my own template. The other half of T.S. challenge was to use a stamp that you hadn't used in a while. This stamp is from Inkadinkado Inc. and once I pulled it out to use I stamped a few in different colors to play with. Along with entering this at T. S. I'm entering it in 3 other challenges:
isn't she just too fun! I got her (free) from SemSee's a few monhs ago. I was going to make and send a card to Jayme who was diagnosed with lung cancer (which is what my mom die from) but just didn't have it in me. I'm still missing my mom even though it's been over 9 years. Anyways I came across her yesterday and had to make a card. I'm entering this in 2 challenges:
I don't usually work with these colors so this is a challenge in itself for me, LOL. I haven't used this stamp in ages. I'll be using it again in another challenge later on today. I'm entering it at C.R.A.F.T. for the sketch challenge.
This is a big buckle card. I got the instructions from Spiltcoasters Resourses. It was fairly easy to make. So far I've made 3, lol! I'm going to enter this at Paper Sundaes for the stiching challenge. My stiching was done using my Cuttlebug.
I love how this turned out! The adorable digi is again from Bugaboo, they have such wonderful stamps (free or to buy). I'm entering this at Crazy 4 Challenges for the sketch.
