Christmas Cards

Just a few Christmas cards to post today.

A few cards

I haven't been making a lot of cards lately but have made some, here are a few.
Madison's 6th birthday

Molly & Thomas' wedding card

Karen's birthday card

Jill's birthday card

Flowers for Evelyn

Here's another flower card box. It's for my granddaughter Madison's other Grandma who lives further away than I and doesn't get to see Madison as often as I do. So when she needs to see our little Madison's smile all she has to do is look at her 'flower box' and there she is!

Charlotte's Card Box

Baby Charlotte is my new great neice born a year ago last July and is just adorable. I made this box of 'flowers' for her mom. One of my friends in the states takes the photos I send her and uses a program called Kaleidscope and makes the flowers for me. It's really very neat.

a quick update

So it's been a few months once again since I last posted. This summer was not a great one for either myself or my hubby. In the middle of July I had a migraine for days, after that I got a very nasty sinus infection. I found the heat unbearable this year as well and kept saying to my hubby "I'm having a hard time breathing". Well, little did I know that I had pneumonia! I eventually went to the doctors and got on some really good antibiotics and a puffer, both did the job at kicking the pneumonia out the door but I don't think I've ever been so unwell in all my life. The upside to all of this is it started my weight loss. When I was in the midst of being sick I wasn't eating much and losing weight so have carried on with that process. Now while I'm in the middle of this my darling hubby is also not well. He was in and out of the hospital with a fissure, then he ended up getting pneumonia too which led to a lung infection! He's been doing quite well the last month since he's been home and I think things are going to be ok now. The best news from this summer is that my hubby is cancer free! So we thank the good Lord for our blessings.
