Jessica turned 30

My niece Jessica turned 30 on Mar 21st. Last Sunday we went to her darling little apartment to help her celebrate. Below are a few photos we took. I made her a lemon pound cake (her request) and decided to decorate it as well. Years ago I use to do cake decorating but you wouldn't know now, LOL.....anyways Jessica loved it and I'm happy she did, we had a lovely day.

in her wedding dress

I've made this card for my sister's wedding coming up in July. I used the Cricut Wedding Solutions cartridge, embossed the dress with the swiss dot folder and stamped the edge of the c/s with a leafy swirl design. I'm entering this into 2 challenges:

a pretty pink tree

Here's a quick card I made last nigt. When we were heading home from our visit with Madison we stop at a dollar store (I needed more pearls, LOL!) and I found these flower and border stickers (in the aqua, pink and black) and of course I wanted to play with them so I used part of the border and a few flowers for this card. The embossing folder is floral fantasy and the tree stamp is from my fav $1.50 bin at Michael's. I'm entering this into 3 challenges:
Crazy 4 Challenges - use a tree
Saturday Challenge - flowers for mum

shades of green

With St. Pat's day just around the corner there are a lot of challenges to use the color green. I've used 4 different shades on my card. The tulip is from Stampin Up, I used the Martha Stewart daisy punch on my border and the wedding solution cricut for the swirls. I'm entering this into 4 challenges:

A Purple Butterfly

I haven't posted in a while. I have been making cards, but they haven't coincided with any of the challenges out there. The Sweet Stop has a great sketch so thought I'd give it a try.
