Flowers for Valentine

I haven't entered any challenges lately. Made this card the other night and am entering it into 2 challenges. The first is The Secret Crafter Saturday challenge to use monochrome colors: 1 color plus white (I hope the tiny bit of pink is ok). The 2nd one is at Cupcake Craft challenge which was red & white.

Val,
What a nice blog. I like scrapbooking and occasionally do cards also. Your pictures have inspired me to start working on a valentine card for my hubby!
Nice family there!

Hi Val,

I am so glad to see you so active with your cardmaking! Love to see your new creations. And thank you for the shoe card you sent me.

To answer your question about my butterflies, they are vintage pearls pearls from Germany and I adhere them with UHU Twist and Glue (the black and yellow bottle). You can use any strong bond glue that you normally use for your 3D items (I think you might have something called Gorilla glue). There are also the half pearls that I can't buy here and don't afford shipping taxes to buy from abroad at the moment.

Darling card, Val! Love the hearts. I didn't get many Valentines made this year. I don't even have one for Tom yet. I guess I'd better get busy! Take care. Glad you enjoyed the torch. How exciting to have the Olympics in your back yard!
