Our visit to Chase and Lac le Jeune
Hi everyone, We had a wonderful visit with my sister in Chase. We arrived Friday night. Saturday we took my sister into Kamloops to have lunch at Boston Pizza. Her daughter Kim grandson’s Elias and Adam as well as daughter in law Jacquie joined us. We had a lovely time. Before lunch we spent the morning shopping! We went to the dollar store, they had alot of great things to buy. I bought some really pretty textured card stock for 4 for $1.25! How great is that. We stayed with my sister until Sunday then went to Lac le Jeune to visit my niece Kim and her little ones. Her hubby Lee was stuck in London because of the volcanic ash. We had a lovely visit then headed home on Tuesday. I took a few photos......hope everyone is having a good week, hugs, Valerie
Elias on the computer, he's learned how to get on the computer to You Tube and finds the train videos! He loves trains...
My Recent Cards
These 2 little cards are for 2 of my sorority sisters who are both receiving their Silver Circle, 25 years in Beta Sigma Phi. The pretty tulips image are from Birds Blog, thanks! I colored the tulips with pencil crayons and OMS. Before I printed the image off I type Congratulations on your Silver Circle. I used my cricut (George Basic cartridge) for the 25 and the names. I also made the black envelopes.....I used silver peel offs to outling the front of the envelope, added the little crimped butterfly edged with Stampin Up ink and 2 little pearls.

here's a cute little card, I like how it turned out. The image is a freebie but I'm not sure who it belongs to. Please let me know if you know who the owner is, thanks....
This is a sympathy card I made for a dear online friend of mine who just lost her hubby to lung cancer. I have a very hard time making sympathy cards. The image is from Fred She Said....thanks!

Celebrating Ted's 64th Birthday
Hi everyone,
No cards this weekend, it was all about our family celebrating our anniversary and my hubby’s birthday. We have had the most gorgeous weather! 3 days of sunshine:)) Friday we celebrated our 16th Anniversary by going out to dinner to one of our favorite restaurants along with 3 other couples and had a wonderful meal and time. Saturday we were suppose to go to a pub night fundraiser but my hubby wasn’t feeling well so we decided to stay in. Sunday we celebrated hubby’s birthday with some of our children and grandchildren. Below are a few pictures of today’s festivities. Will be back making cards tomorrow. Hope everyone had a great weekend!
Hugs, Valerie

Easter Sunday at Mark and Rachels
hello everyone! I hope everyone had a wonderful Easter! We did, LOL...We had a wonderful day and yummy Easter dinner of ham and turkey at my son Mark's home. We had a full house with 16 altogether. The weather co operated and the sun came out so all the children (and we have alot of them, lol) were able to play outside on the trampoline. In an earlier post I made little explosion boxes that I'd filled with chocolate eggs for the grandkids and they all loved them! Below are just a few pictures I took of Madison and the rest of our grandchildren.
